3. SMS Communications
VeveTrack uses SMS to send you important service-related messages, including:

- One-time passwords (OTP) for account verification
- Operational alerts for drivers and fleet operators
3.1 Opt-In
By providing your mobile phone number and using our booking service, you expressly consent to receive transactional SMS messages from VeveTrack. Consent is not a condition of purchase. We do not send promotional or marketing SMS without explicit separate consent.
3.2 Opt-Out
You may opt out of non-essential SMS communications at any time by:

Please note that opting out of transactional SMS (e.g., booking confirmations) may affect your ability to receive important service updates. Transactional messages required for safety and legal compliance cannot be disabled.

Message frequency varies based on your booking activity. Standard messaging and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply. VeveTrack is not responsible for charges levied by your carrier.

- SMS Service Providers: We use authorised transactional SMS gateways (registered under TRAI DLT) to deliver messages. These providers process your phone number solely to deliver messages on our behalf.
- Legal Obligations: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority.

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), hashed passwords, and access controls. However, no digital transmission is 100% secure; use our services at your own risk and notify us immediately if you suspect a breach.
